This is a project to increase refugee health literacy on the signs and symptoms of labor and being able to access MIHS in emergency. Monthly classes are held at MIHS for refugee women in the 3rd trimester, with pre- and post-test questions assessing knowledge gained as well as reproductive health outcomes.

Utility of the Refugee Health Screening-15 (RHS-15) Evaluation
This project seeks to understand the rates of refugee women screening positive on the RHS-15, which is a screening tool to detect risks of depression, anxiety, and PTSD. We are interested in examining any correlates with obstetrical and neonatal outcomes.
